Festival MED returns to Loulé with a packed programme for its 18th edition

Between June 30 and July 1-3, the World Music Festival “Festival MED” returns to the Algarve with performances for all tastes.

Featuring artists such as MARO, indie/acoustic singer and songwriter, (Portugal representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022), GO_A, an electro-folk band (Ukraine representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020), Noiserv, alternative indie singer (Portugal), Viviane, world music/fado singer (Portugal), Plasticine (Portugal), Victor Zamora & Sexteto Cuba (Portugal), Re:Imaginar Banda Monte Cara (Cabo Verde), Criatura (Portugal), Albaluna (Portugal), among many other artists.

The historic area of Loulé will bring together excellent music combined with an eclectic cultural programme from films, literature, theatre, visual arts, handcraft and gastronomy from the four corners of the world. The festival promises to bring many surprises to the public.

Organisers have also confirmed that the last day of Loulé’s MED Festival will be free to attend for all. “We want everyone to enjoy this event,” said MED director Carlos Carmo. “Even though we won’t have big headliners, those who visit on Sunday will be able to experience a little bit of the festival’s spirit.”

Tickets cost 15€ (daily ticket), 40€ (Festival Ticket for the three days), 40€ (daily Family Ticket for 2 adults + 2 children until age 16). Children aged 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased online: www.bol.pt.
