The motor industry is developing at a breakneck pace and, between the years 2000 and 2020, it will have changed more than in the previous 100 years. However, every so often, there is a project that defines its time. The AM-RB 001 is one of those projects. Fruit of the collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing, this super machine is the result of the ideas of three brilliant minds: the most prominent designer ever of F1 single-seaters, Adrian Newey, and Marek Reichman and David King, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Special Operations Officer of Aston Martin, respectively.

The premise is quite simple: to build the fastest road car in the world of all time. With a chassis made entirely from carbon fibre, an aerodynamic never before seen in a road-going car and a mid-mounted atmospheric V12 engine, it should produce one horsepower per every kilo of weight, meaning 1000hp for 1000kg. This hypercar should still offer impressive comfort and an onboard environment where the trademark Aston Martin quality and luxury are evident. The AM-RB 001 will be built in Gaydon and is expected to have a limited production of between 99 and 150 units, including 25 exclusively for the race track.
