The event will celebrate national wines, gastronomy, and music in the heart of the Algarve
Only a week away, the Lagoa Wine Show, one of southern Portugal’s most acclaimed wine events, is almost here.
Taking place along the town’s vibrant Coronel Figueiredo Street from June 6 to 9, visitors will be treated to a showcase of some of the country’s finest wines – with the opportunity to taste them as well.
Recently named “Event of the Year” by the Portuguese Municipalities Association (AMPV), the festival will highlight Portugal’s most celebrated wine regions. These include the increasingly renowned Algarve producers, as well as wines from the Douro, Alentejo, Dão, Lisbon, Setúbal, and Bairrada regions. The country’s distinctive Vinho Verde will also be featured.
International flair will be added by guest countries such as Moldova and Georgia, offering visitors a broader tasting experience.

In addition to wine, the event promises the usual rich musical programme across multiple stages.
This year’s line-up includes Dino D’Santiago, Buba Espinho, Entre Aspas, Beatriz Felício, Sara Cruz, and many others.
A standout feature is the Fado à Janela initiative, with Fado singers performing from balconies and windows along the main street – a unique cultural touch that captures the soul of Portugal.
