Gusto by Heinz Beck hosted a Michelin-starred dinner with purpose, raising funds and inspiring the next generation of Algarve chefs
To celebrate the second anniversary of the Conrad Algarve Social Corporate Committee, Quinta do Lago’s five-star resort hosted a ‘Six-Hand Charity Dinner’ on May 6.
The special charitable event at Michelin-starred Gusto by Heinz Beck featured a collaboration between three acclaimed chefs – Marlene Vieira, Heinz Beck, and resident chef Stefano Bulla – who presented an exclusive six-course tasting menu.

The dinner served not only as a top gastronomic event but also as a platform to support the development of new culinary talents in the Algarve.
A highlight of the initiative included the involvement of five culinary students from the Escola de Almancil, who participated directly in the evening’s preparations and service.

Following a day of immersive training activities, the students worked alongside the chefs in the kitchen, gaining valuable experience in a Michelin-starred environment.

Festivities began with a signature canapé and cocktail reception at the Gusto Bar, followed by a six-course dinner paired with premium Laurent-Perrier Champagnes and infusions by Infusões com História.

All proceeds from the evening were donated to the Escola de Almancil to enhance the conditions of their Educational Kitchen.
