Tests are free for anyone to attend, no reservation is needed
Alpine is hosting two free Formula 1 testing days at the Algarve International Racetrack in Portimão on Wednesday and Thursday (July 12-13), from 9am to 6pm with a lunch break in between.
Free access to the main stands will be available to anyone who wishes to see the testing live and up close.
“Our circuit continues to be one of the most desired by teams for testing and competition. After Alpha Tauri and Pirelli were at our track for development earlier this year, now McLaren and Alpine have visited AIA for the second time. The opportunity given to us by Alpine to open the stands is fantastic, and we have to thank them for it. I’m sure that on July 12 and 13, we will have many motorsport and Formula 1 enthusiasts in our stands,” said Paulo Pinheiro, the racetrack’s CEO.

Mick Schumacher – By McLaren
A three-day private test session was conducted by McLaren at the circuit, where reserve driver Mick Schumacher drove Zak Brown’s 2021 car, between July 4-6.
“With a specific testing programme, the German driver also tried out some Pirelli tire compounds used in the championship, with the team bringing along some young technicians still in training to the Algarve,” AIA said in a statement to the press.
