The 11th edition of the Verão Azul festival will be featuring 22 shows
Verão Azul Festival is back this year, this time with an aim to promote decentralisation and the creation of contemporary art in its various forms.
This year’s festival will take place between April 6 and 16, and during the ten days, visitors can experience a variety of concerts and performances happening through different locations and venues.
Starting this April 6 and until April 9, Lagos will take the centre stage, with events happening in Centro Cultural de Lagos, Clube Artístico Lacobrigense, LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas and Espaço Jovem / Escola de Dança de Lagos.
Then, between April 13 and 16, the festival comes to Loulé, to Cine-Teatro Louletano, Bafo de Baco, Alfaia, 8100 Café and the SUL, SOL, SAL venues.
As part of the festival’s programme, selected artists and musicians will “break the limits of normative reality” with 22 performances, some of which take place in both cities, ranging from contemporary dance performances to visual arts, plays, exhibitions, and much more.
The full programme can be viewed at the festival’s website www.festivalveraoazul.com or on Facebook and Instagram.
