From beachfront glamour, live performances, festive buffets and gala evenings, Tivoli offers the perfect way to welcome 2025 in Carvoeiro, Lagos and Vilamoura

Tivoli Hotels are offering a selection of exquisite options for those who want to celebrate the holiday season in style, with its three luxurious locations – Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, Tivoli Carvoeiro, and Tivoli Lagos – hosting unforgettable festive experiences.

Christmas Eve

At Pepper’s Steakhouse (Vilamoura), MED (Carvoeiro), The One (Carvoeiro), and Lacóbriga (Lagos), guests can enjoy unique festive menus. Highlights include Portuguese classics such as cod with quail egg and creamy chickpeas, succulent leg of lamb with spinach, stuffed turkey, cod strudel, and veal medallions with oysters. For those who prefer a buffet, there will be Christmas Eve options with seasonal dishes, including Monchique-style roast and cod with a herb crust.

Christmas Day

Celebrate Christmas Day with a cosy and festive meal at the Voyage restaurant (Vilamoura), featuring a bountiful Christmas buffet ideal for family gatherings. Alternatively, MED (Carvoeiro) offers a delicious brunch blending tradition with modernity, and Lacóbriga (Lagos) presents a festive buffet that includes dishes like stuffed crab and roast turkey with chestnuts and mushrooms.

New Year’s Eve

Purobeach Vilamoura sets the stage with a chic beachfront club vibe, offering a luxurious evening complete with an exclusive menu, live music, and entertainment. Highlights include scarlet prawn with pumpkin gnocchi and prawn bisque, and beef with parsnip purée, asparagus, and pistachio crumble. Guests can enjoy an open bar starting at 10.30pm and a delicious supper to welcome 2025.

Pepper’s Steakhouse will guarantee a romantic setting with standout dishes like scarlet prawn served with lime foam, elderflower, and caviar, and Wagyu beef with parsnips, celery, and green asparagus, accompanied by carefully selected wines.

Tivoli Marina Vilamoura will host a grand gala featuring a performance by Portuguese pop star Tony Carreira at the Algarve Congress Centre. A festive buffet will complete this unforgettable evening.

In Carvoeiro, The One restaurant will serve a five-course menu paired with wines that offer an intimate experience to the sound of a live piano and a direct view of the fireworks show. The evening includes access to the after-midnight party, ideal for an adults-only celebration. Dishes such as the prawn carpaccio with Oscietra royal caviar and citrus fruits from the Algarve, oxtail consommé with prawn gyoza, and matured veal loin with potato terrine and black truffle stand out.

Tivoli Carvoeiro’s Conference Centre will host a gala dinner, with a 5-course menu, an open bar, live music, a DJ, and fireworks. Dinner starts with prawn carpaccio with Oscietra royal caviar and citrus fruits from the Algarve, followed by turbot with cauliflower textures and a delicious white veal Tornedó with fondant potatoes and black truffle. The night ends with Tiramisu with Amaretto ice cream, coffee, and hazelnut crumble.

Tivoli Lagos invites guests to a “Casino Night” themed New Year’s Eve, complete with a specially curated menu. After midnight, guests can enjoy a sumptuous supper buffet available from 1am, offering a variety of delicacies to keep the celebration going until dawn.

On the first day of the year, the three hotels will offer delightful brunches. Purobeach (Vilamoura) will offer a seaside brunch experience, while in Carvoeiro, fresh and flavorful dishes will be served at MED, and Tivoli Lagos will provide a festive New Year’s Day brunch to conclude the holiday celebrations with a touch of culinary excellence.
