The One Green Way Invitational is one of the “most sought after private Golf Tournaments in Europe”

One Green Way is hosting “The One Green Way Invitational” between February 2-6, which is a mixed Pro-Am golf tournament that will be featuring “a dazzling line-up of legends” from the world of professional golf. The Invitational pairs 60 legends of the sport with 60 privately invited guests.

The tournament is hosted by Jean-Noël Bioul, the former Global Head of Sponsorship for ROLEX HQ in Geneva and an adviser to the Board of One Green Way.

Now in its second year, the One Green Way Invitational is “already gaining a reputation as the most sought after private golf tournament in Europe”.

All the top players participating have also enjoyed successive wins across the major European, PGA tours and Open Championship, with several voted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Some of the world famous names playing at the One Green Way Invitational 2023 include Bernhard Langer (Germany), who was voted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002; Colin Montgomerie (Scotland), Ryder Cup winning Captain in 2010; Miguel Ángel Jiménez (Spain); José María Olazábal (Spain); and Robert Karlsson (Sweden); Laura Ochoa (Mexico), voted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2017 and who still holds the record for the most weeks in a row in the top position in women’s golf; Solheim Cup Vice Captain Dame Laura Davies (UK), who holds the Guinness World Record for the most points (25) and the most appearances in the Solheim Cup; Captain of the European 2017 Solheim Cup Annika Sörenstam (Sweden); former world number two Suzann Pettersen (Norway), who was Vice Captain of the European team at the Solheim Cup in 2017, 2021 and is current captain for 2023; and Helen Alfredsson (Sweden) who won a Major in 1993.

The world’s top golfers will be competing over a share of the €332,500 prize money, which carries a top prize of €55,000, playing at the “immaculate North Golf Course in Quinta do Lago” against the backdrop of the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

According to Jean-Noël Bioul, Adviser to the Board of Green Jacket Partners, “We are delighted to be hosting the second One Green Way Invitational this year. The next few days promise to be very exciting for everyone involved. This event is a wonderful example of how an unforgettable experience has the power to create a deeper connection with the brand.”
