A veritable sensorial experience is promised by the organisers of Immersivus Gallery, a unique exhibition taking place at Centro de Congressos do Algarve in Vilamoura from June 4 to September 30.
The “creative universe” of four geniuses — Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Claude Monet, and Gustav Klimt — will be featured in an “immersive art gallery” as visitors will experience the artworks of these artists in an “innovative multisensory way”.
After Porto and Lisbon, the show by OCUBO atelier is now coming to Vilamoura and promises to unite technology and art, giving visitors the opportunity to experience both worlds in a fun, interactive way.
Immersivus Gallery is being inaugurated this Friday (June 4) at 8pm, with the presentation of the shows “Il Divino Michelangelo & Il Genio Da Vinci” and “Impressive Monet & Brilliant Klimt”.
Event organisers say the “multisensorial format of the exhibition is gaining popularity” as it brings together culture and technology providing an educational dimension that both local families and tourists alike can enjoy. “The show is dynamic, fun and contemporary,” say organisers.
“The immersive experience is possible thanks to the technology set up at the Centro de Congressos do Algarve which boasts a highly complex 360º video projection technique,” says OCUBO.
“The Algarve Congress Centre will be transformed into a monumental screen where the content will be projected at 360º, and the audience will be at the centre of the action, being immersed in the show, also being part of the story.”
Three daily shows of “Il Divino Michelangelo & Il Genio Da Vinci” can be seen from Tuesday to Sunday, at 8pm, 9.30pm and 11pm. The show “Impressive Monet & Brilliant Klimt” can be seen on the same days at 8.45pm and 10.15pm.
One-show tickets cost from €10 to €15. Two-show tickets cost between €15 and €22.50.
Children up to three years of age enter for free, while reduced ticket prices are available for families and children aged four to 17, seniors aged 65+, students, and Loulé residents.
