Discover exclusive chef-led dinners in Vilamoura, premium steaks at Pine Cliffs and wood-fired pizza in Salgados
A seat at the chef’s table
Victoria Golf Resort & Spa in Vilamoura has launched a new monthly Chef’s Table, offering an intimate dining experience with a different guest chef at each edition.
Limited to a small number of diners, the series brings visiting chefs together with the hotel’s culinary team to create exclusive menus for each event. The initiative continues throughout the autumn, with further editions planned for October and November.
Hosted at the resort, the dinners are designed to offer guests a closer connection with the chefs and their cooking, with each event presenting a different culinary approach.
Extra-extra-large
XXL by Oliver at Pine Cliffs is where Algarve holidays slip into full-on indulgence. Perched above golden cliffs and the Atlantic’s blue sweep, this sleek, softly lit steakhouse feels made for long, late dinners that stretch into the night.
The star is the meat: XXL-sized, dry-aged cuts grilled to perfection, carved at the table and ideal for sharing. Think tomahawks, rib-eyes and silky sides, paired with serious Portuguese reds and classic cocktails.
With polished yet relaxed service, it’s a grown-up playground for food lovers; where “just a quick steak” becomes the main event.

Sunset slices
At the Marriott Salgados, lazy beach afternoons naturally flow into pizza-filled evenings at Amarea Pizzaria.

Just steps from the dunes and shimmering saltwater lagoons, this laid-back spot serves wood-fired pizzas with a coastal twist: thin, blistered crusts topped with silky burrata, local seafood and sun-kissed vegetables.
The vibe is relaxed yet stylish, with chilled rosé, spritzes and craft cocktails flowing as the sun drops over the Atlantic. Families linger on the terrace, couples share slices, and sunset photos compete with the food for attention.
