The EQA received an upgrade recently and it is better than ever. With even better aesthetics and electric range, the smallest of the fully electric Mercedes models has some new tools to face growing competition.

The new front grille design with black panel brings it closer to the rest of the EQ range, whilst the new front bumper exudes a more modern and sportier look. Inside, the new steering wheel with touch control buttons is fantastic.

The latest generation of the MBUX infotainment system can be customised with a choice of three styles – subtle, sporty and classic – and three modes: navigation, assistance and service, whilst remaining as attractive and intuitive as ever. Activating online services in the Mercedes app makes the user experience even easier.

The maximum range indicated has increased to 560 km, largely due to improvements in engine and battery management, but also through measures implemented to optimise aerodynamics and new tyres with very low rolling resistance.

The EQA 250+ tested boasts 190 horsepower and maximum torque of 385Nm, allowing DC charging up to 100kW. Attractive, practical and very comfortable, it is the best of all Mercedes models for everyday city driving.
