A racing special
In 1970, Tudor introduced its first chronograph: the Oysterdate. As robust as it was functional, it stood out for its bold colours and distinctive pentagonal hour markers. It was immediately adopted by the world of motorsports, paving the way for more than five decades of Tudor chronographs, continuously refined by the brand. In 2026, it enters a new chapter through the partnership between Tudor and Racing Bulls, brought to life in the new Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26.
The striking yellow accents of the new Racing Bulls VCARB 03 single-seater are echoed in the Tudor timepiece, reflecting a cosmopolitan and distinctly sporty aesthetic. Remaining faithful to the Black Bay identity, the Carbon 26 features the signature ‘Snowflake’ hands in a refined execution designed for maximum legibility, alongside a concave ‘Racing white’ dial, two black concave sub-counters, a 45-minute counter, and a date aperture at 6 o’clock. The 42mm case is crafted from carbon fibre, as is the fixed bezel with tachymetric scale, whilst the titanium caseback features a PVD finish.
The Manufacture Chronograph Calibre MT5813 is certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) and fitted with a monobloc rotary motor made of lattice-structured tungsten with a satin finish and sandblasted details. Power reserve stands at 70 hours, whilst production is limited to 2026 pieces.
