The ongoing evolution of the Luminor line brings the new Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech PAM01575

The Swiss trade fair saw Panerai unveil the new Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech PAM01575.

Built in Platinumtech®, a special alloy developed and patented by Panerai, made of 95% platinum and which is 40% harder and more resistant to scratches, the new 44mm Luminor is a watch that will not go unnoticed, with striking image.

The trademark link to the sea is established by the blue colour, contrasting with the hands and markers applied in Super-LumiNova® X2, which glows bright green in the dark for optimum readability.

The dial is quintessential Panerai, characterised by its simplicity and beauty. The GTM sub-dial sits at 9 o’clock, whilst the Calendario Perpetuo inscription reveals the complexity of the P.4100 movement, which can be seen through the sapphire caseback.

The result of 10 years of research by Panerai’s Laboratorio di Idee, it has a 72-hour power reserve and a series of innovations that set the Italian brand apart from the rest. The PAM01575 is water-resistant up to 5 BAR.

The wrist straps chosen are dark blue leather with a vintage hand-finish and an optional blue rubber strap, which adds some much-needed versatility.
