From Woking with power
The new 750S McLaren is the natural evolution of the 720S, a car that many experts considered to be the best supercar on the market when it was launched.
Available in Coupé and Spider versions, the 750S replaces 30% of the components of its predecessor, loses 30kg in weight and increases power by 30 horsepower, for a total of 750, in order to boost performance even further: 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and 200 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
The biturbo V8 engine has been completely revised for enhanced response and sound, whilst the dual-clutch transmission is faster and more precise than ever.
Aesthetically, it is even more aggressive, with the tailpipes repositioned to the centre, a larger rear wing and new bumpers, the 750S is a petrolhead’s dream come to life. The carbon fibre seats are a nod to competitive racing, the forged wheels are the lightest of any McLaren and even the dashboard and windscreen are almost 2kg lighter than those of the 720S, a testament to the engineers’ relentless pursuit of perfection.
In just 12 years, McLaren Automotive has become Ferrari’s biggest rival in concept and execution. There’s no greater compliment than that.
