One of the most iconic Christmas events in the Algarve comes back for a weekend of family, shopping, and entertainment
Vale do Lobo Christmas Market marks the beginning of the holiday season at the resort, offering a weekend of family, shopping, and entertainment on December 2 and 3, from 10am to 5.30pm.
Free to attend, the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market will be held across the Parque do Golfe complex, Vale do Lobo Auditorium, and the adjacent outdoor gardens, “ensuring a warm and unique ambiance suitable for all weather conditions, making it the ultimate celebration and socialisation spot”, say organisers.
“Designed with families in mind, this annual market is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. Explore fantastic gift options, indulge in gourmet food and wine, and enjoy live music and entertainment suitable for all ages.”
This year’s market promises to be a remarkable edition, setting a new record in terms of exhibitors and visitors.
The market will feature numerous local exhibitors offering a wide range of products to cater to various tastes and preferences, including wines, gourmet food, crafts, ceramics, paintings, fashion, jewellery, beauty products, sweets, regional products, flowers, toys, and more.
Since its inception, the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market has been a highly anticipated event for both the resort’s resident community and visitors. It offers an opportunity for fundraising for the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, one of the most prominent charity organisations in the region, founded in 1999, with nearly 25 years of dedicated service. Funds raised from this event go on to support local social causes in need.
In addition to the extensive market area, children also have access to an entertainment programme that includes Christmas music, various children’s activities, and live music. Algarve Fine Food will provide a variety of delicious meals, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day.
