With €140 million in Algarve real estate units sold and a reputation for redefining luxury through sustainability and innovation, Kronos’ new partner, Alda Filipe, is set to drive the future of luxury and sustainability in the Iberian market

Kronos Homes, one of the main players in the Iberian real estate market, has recently announced the appointment of Alda Filipe to its committee of partners, becoming the first woman in Portugal, and the second in all of the Iberian Peninsula, to take on the role of partner with the firm.

Alda Filipe, who is also the group’s Regional Director and Board Member for the Algarve’s prestigious Vale do Lobo resort, will bring a wealth of commercial experience to the role, with her 25-year career.

Alda has served as the “driving force behind the transformation” of a series of luxury resorts in the Algarve, and mostly recently, led the brand repositioning of Vale do Lobo, including strategic investment in a range of new facilities and the creation of an exciting new real estate offering.

Prior to her most recent work at Vale do Lobo, since joining Kronos Homes in 2019 Alda Filipe has overseen iconic and pioneering assets including Palmares Ocean Living & Golf and Amendoeira Golf Resort. Her initiatives have catapulted such resorts onto the international stage whilst positioning Kronos as the standard for luxury and innovation in the Iberian market.

With this even greater strategic role as partner, Alda will be ideally positioned to “reinforce the Kronos Group’s vision for sustainable and innovative growth in developing, managing and investing in real estate assets in Spain and Portugal”, as shared to the press.
