New Yoga, Pilates, Hyrox and sports events focus on strength, movement and well-being this spring
Find the Art of Flow retreat
Designed to explore the essence of mindful movement through the complementary disciplines of Pilates and Yoga, the “Find the Art of Flow” retreat takes place at Quinta da Comporta from March 19 to 22.
Led by Yvonne Rocca and Camille Kynoch, the retreat offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect and rediscover the pleasure of intentional movement.
The programme focuses on improving strength, mobility, breath-to-movement integration and overall well-being, and includes structured Vinyasa practice, Restorative Yoga and Pilates to deepen body and mind awareness.
Algarve Wellness Week
From March 1 to 5, Praia da Luz will host a dedicated wellness retreat. Designed for both solo participants looking to connect with others and organised groups, the week focuses on health and fitness.

A range of accommodation options is available, along with outdoor activities overlooking the sea and suitable for all levels, led by experienced professionals.
From beginners taking their first steps into fitness to athletes aiming to enhance performance, everyone is welcome.
Participants can expect several daily sessions, including Hyrox, Pilates and Yoga, as well as sunrise beach workouts and coastal runs.
Hybrid Vortex
The Algarve is set to welcome a new sports competition concept with the debut of Hybrid Vortex.
On February 28, Lagos Municipal Stadium will host this dynamic event, combining running and functional training in a format open to athletes of skill levels.

The race unfolds over eight stages, alternating 800-metre runs with workout stations featuring rowing, SkiErg, sled push and pull, wall balls, burpees and weighted carries.
With individual, pair and mixed categories, Hybrid Vortex promotes a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere.
Open to the public, it aims to establish itself as a new fixture on Portugal’s fitness calendar.
