This Friday marks the last concerto of the 6th Algarve International Piano Festival at the TEMPO Theatre in Portimão
After an “online edition in 2021”, the Algarve International Piano Festival has returned this year to Portimão’s TEMPO theatre for a series of live concertos, ending this Friday with a concerto by the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra led by maestro Adrian Leaper and accompanied by piano soloist João Rosado, at 9pm.
The concerto will start with a performance of the world premiere of the piece “2020 – Concerto for Piano and Orchestra”, by the Portuguese composer João Vasco, and later followed by Symphony N.º 9 “Do New World” by Antonín Dvorák.
The tickets for the event can be purchased online through the Bol.pt website, or at the TEMPO’s ticket office. Prices start at 15€ up to 25€.
