Portimão’s Algarve International Racetrack will host 21 races in 2024

MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix, FIM Superbike World Championship, European Le Mans Series, are just a few of the major events on the calendar

The Algarve International Circuit (AIA) has released its official schedule for 2024, which includes 21 races headlined by the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix in March.

Another highlight will be the FIM Superbike World Championship which will hosts its Portugal Round at the Portimão racetrack between August 9 and 11.

But there will be much more to enjoy throughout the year, from the return of the European Le Mans Series to the first TCR World Ranking Final.

Alongside all these major events, the racetrack will also continue hosting tests by leading racing teams from around the world.

The full schedule for the year is as follows:

  • January 26-28 – Porsche Sprint Challenge
  • February 2-3 – Gulf 12 Hours
  • March 1-3 – TCR World Ranking Final
  • March 22-24 – MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix
  • April 5-7 – CRM
  • April 25-28 – GT Open + GT Cup + Euroformula
  • May 10-12 – Creventic 24 Hours Portimão
  • May 24-26 – Ultimate Cup
  • June 7-9 – F4 Spain
  • June 21-23 – FIM Junior GP
  • July 5-7 – Ferrari Challenge
  • July 20-21 – CNV Moto
  • August 9-11 – Superbike World Championship
  • August 29-31 – Porsche Sprint Cup Challenge Switzerland
  • September 6-8 – Lamera Cup
  • October 4-6 – Bentley Boys 24H
  • October 11-13 – Fun Cup
  • October 17-19 – European Le Mans Series
  • October 25-27 – Algarve Classic Festival
  • December 7-8 – CNV Moto
