Executive chef Nelson Candeias and sommelier Jorge Bita promise a night of perfectly paired AdegaMãe wines and gourmet cuisine
Amara Restaurant, in Quinta do Lago, is hosting an exclusive evening dedicated to wine and gastronomy on November 8. The special Wine Dinner will feature paired wines from AdegaMãe to accompany the culinary creations of executive chef Nelson Candeias.
Guests will be presented with a sophisticated dinner, blending tradition and modernity, with wines from AdegaMãe especially selected by sommelier Jorge Bita.

Known for their freshness and elegance, a result of the Atlantic’s influence, these wines bring vibrant acidity and striking aromatic expression to AdegaMães’s whites, and depth, structure and elegant character to its reds, creating a perfect combination for a special dinner.
On Saturday, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Pinot Noir Brut Nature Rosé Sparkling Wine alongside a mushroom, egg and hazelnut tartlet to start the evening, followed by a Thai salad with crispy soft-shell crab accompanied by Arinto White.
Next, lily confit in olive oil with sautéed broad beans, wakame seaweed and yoghurt sauce is served with Pinot Noir Rosé.
For the main course, Adega Mãe’s Reserva Red will be paired with a seared duck breast, red cabbage and apple purée, beetroot and juniper sauce. To finish the experience, olive oil and honey pudding with fig ice cream will be served with Late Harvest Semillon & Petit Manseng.
The experience costs €98 per person. Reservations can be made by calling +351 289 357 500, emailing [email protected], or visiting Amara’s website.
