Second edition takes place from October 9-11, with equestrian competitions, exhibitions, live music and a Grande Gala Equestre
The Feira Equestre do Sul returns to Albufeira’s Marina from October 9-11, bringing three days of equestrian sport, tradition, music and culture to the Algarve.
Across the three-day programme, the equestrian world takes centre stage with dressage, show jumping, working equitation, cavalhadas, masterclasses and a parade of stud farms.
The programme extends beyond the arena, with exhibitions, food stalls and handicrafts adding to the festival atmosphere and offering visitors the opportunity to spend the day at the marina.
Friday evening brings the Grande Gala Equestre, featuring a special appearance by the GNR Charanga, with live musical performances by Gonçalo Rosa and Melissa Simplício, followed by a concert by Compis del Cante.
On Saturday, Sara Paixão will accompany the Parade of Stud Farms, before DJ Alexandre Ramos takes over for the evening.
The event concludes on Sunday with a sunset session featuring DJ Gonçalo Rosa.
The Feira Equestre do Sul is open to the public with free admission, with the programme running until 1am each day.
