The iconic Quinta do Lago restaurant brings fresh fish, classic Portuguese flavours and a sea-driven menu to Avenida da Liberdade
Lisbon’s famous JNcQUOI Avenida will welcome one of the Algarve’s most iconic restaurants, Gigi, for a four-day takeover, bringing the unmistakable flavours of the sea and a menu that celebrates authentic ingredients and a cuisine full of character.
Located in Quinta do Lago, overlooking the Ria Formosa Natural Park, Gigi is known for its relaxed atmosphere and fresh fish and seafood, which earned it a loyal following over the years.

JNcQUOI has hosted takeovers since 2019, and this edition will take place from January 21 to 24 at its restaurant on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon. Through this concept, JNcQUOI continues to invest in partnerships with some of the best Portuguese restaurants outside the capital, curated by executive chef António Bóia – considered one of the leading figures in Portuguese gastronomy – with the aim of showcasing the diversity and quality of national cuisine.

Gigi
This special takeover will feature a signature menu that goes beyond the food, reflecting tradition and a passion for Portuguese gastronomy, brought straight from the Algarve.
The menu’s highlights include the starters: cold tuna ceviche (€24), Portuguese-style marinated scallops (€27), the classic clam xerém (€27), and egg and shrimp tomato stew (€25).
For main courses, the focus is on quality produce, simplicity and flavour, with seafood taking centre stage. Highlights include seafood pasta (€38), carabinero prawns with roasted peppers (€75), pompano with Sicilian sauce (€42), and tiger prawns with green pepper sauce (€45).
