The new café in Albufeira serves traditional Portuguese sweets, from pastéis de nata to bolo de arroz, in a setting inspired by classic neighbourhood cafés
Pine Cliffs Resort, in Albufeira, has welcomed a new café dedicated to Portuguese flavours, with the opening of MIMO Café.
The café brings together some of the country’s most familiar pastry favourites, from pastéis de nata and bolo de arroz to pastel de feijão, mil-folhas and jesuítas, recreating the feel of a traditional Portuguese café.

At the centre of the concept is the iconic pastel de nata, served throughout the day alongside Lavazza coffee, premium teas and a selection of freshly made Portuguese pastries.
MIMO Café takes inspiration from traditional Portuguese neighbourhood cafés, whilst adapting the experience to the contemporary setting of Pine Cliffs Hotel. Operating under the slogan “The True Taste of Portugal”, the brand focuses on classic national flavours, quality and a straightforward café experience.

Open daily, the new café welcomes guests looking for a morning coffee, a pastel de nata, a light snack during the day or a quiet break in the hotel lobby.
MIMO is also preparing to expand further in Portugal this summer, with new openings planned at Hyatt Regency Lisbon and Sheraton Cascais Resort.
