A house built by renowned Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto Moura and located on Avenida Ayrton Senna in Quinta do Lago (Loulé) is in the process of being named a “Monument of National Interest”.
The idea was initially pitched by Loulé Council which has since seen the national board of heritage (DGP) throw its support behind the plan.
Says the council in a statement, the house is an example of “contemporary 20th century architecture”.
