Quinta do Lago unveils edible art dining series across three nights this April

Master chef Angélique Schmeinck joins resident chefs for live culinary creations

Quinta do Lago is hosting an immersive sensory dining series this April, bringing together art and gastronomy for three exclusive evenings.

Taking place on April 8, 9 and 10, the experience unfolds across Casa Velha, Casa do Lago and Umami, with each night offering a distinct culinary concept shaped by both local chefs and Dutch chef Angélique Schmeinck, designed to awaken the senses and spark emotion.

Each evening begins with a live edible art moment, where Schmeinck and the resident chef co-create an artistic dish in front of guests. The process sets the tone for the night, with the artwork guiding the flavours, textures and direction of the menu that follows.

The chefs of the three restaurants have developed exclusive menus for the series, working closely with Schmeinck to reflect her creative approach whilst maintaining their own culinary identity.

Casa Velha, Quinta do Lago

Casa Velha will host a Portuguese-inspired concept on April 8, centred around a refined surf and turf menu that explores the balance between land and sea. The experience is priced at €260 per person.

Casa do Lago, Quinta do Lago

On April 9, Casa do Lago will serve dishes designed around freshness and texture presented on a private edible beach. The experience is priced at €280 per person.

Umami, Quinta do Lago

Umami closes the series on April 10 with an Asian-inspired menu, bringing together bold flavours and contrasting elements in a sensory-led dining journey. This experience is also priced at €280 per person.

All experiences include wine pairing, and guests can opt for two or three dinners, with packages offering 10% and 15% savings respectively. Availability is limited, bookings are fixed to each date and venue, and the experience is open to guests aged 12 and above.
