A celebration of creativity
ArtCatto Gallery will celebrate its 15th anniversary on September 19 with a collective exhibition bringing together the work of five artists who reflect the gallery’s commitment to both established and contemporary talent.
To mark the occasion, Portuguese painters Pedro Guimarães and Mário Henrique, alongside internationally acclaimed artists Jisbar, Dom Pattinson and Luc Lavenseau have created new and innovative works especially for the exhibition, offering collectors and visitors the opportunity to discover pieces unveiled for the first time.
The exhibition is a celebration of the balance between continuity and innovation that has defined ArtCatto since it opened in 2011, in Loulé.
Founded by Gillian Catto, the gallery has established itself as one of the Algarve’s leading contemporary art spaces, representing renowned Portuguese and international artists whilst fostering long-term relationships with collectors and promoting artistic excellence across the region.
According to gallery director Frederic Da Ponte, the anniversary programme has been designed to offer visitors fresh perspectives whilst remaining true to the vision that has shaped ArtCatto over the past decade and a half.
Bringing together five artists with distinct creative voices and a series of new works, the September exhibition promises to be both a celebration of contemporary art and a landmark moment in the gallery’s history.
