Mixed-media works inspired by the Algarve’s Culatra and Armona islands on display
Côrte-Real Gallery is showcasing the work of renowned English designer and artist Terry Moore, who specialises in 3-D backgrounds and has designed some of England’s best retail spaces.
Now based largely in the Algarve, he has turned his attention to collage and montage, using found objects alongside layers of acrylic and oil paint to create fascinating textures and depth in his creations.

The artist enjoys taking short trips to the islands of Culatra and Armona, just a short ferry ride from the town of Olhão, drawing inspiration from the region’s landscapes and atmosphere.
