Ombria Algarve hosts open-air cinema nights with BBQ and live music

Spring and summer evenings in the Algarve take on a new rhythm in the heart of Loulé

With hotter days approaching, Ombria Algarve resort, set in the hills just outside Loulé, is welcoming spring and summer with a programme offering a series of open-air cinema nights alongside live music, dining and film in a relaxed village setting.

Launching on April 30, the experience unfolds in the resort’s central plaza, which was designed to reflect a traditional Algarve village atmosphere. Guests are invited to settle in for an easy-going evening that blends food, entertainment and outdoor cinema under the stars.

Each evening begins with live music and an à la carte BBQ served between 7pm and 9pm, offering a casual dining option whilst the sun sets.

At 9pm, visitors can enjoy the open-air cinema, with screenings accompanied by complimentary popcorn.

The first date features the award-winning film Green Book, with further screenings scheduled across the season. The musical fantasy Wonka is scheduled for May 30, with films for July 25 and August 29 to be announced.

Entry is free and open to the public, with reservations recommended for planning purposes.
