Fine-dining restaurant unveils refreshed Water, Fire and Earth menus

Al Quimia, the fine-dining restaurant at EPIC SANA Algarve, has unveiled its new summer tasting menus, inspired by the elements of Water, Fire, Earth and Air.

Created by chef Luís Mourão in collaboration with chef Igor Candeias, the refreshed gastronomic experience celebrates the heritage, traditions and produce of the Algarve and Alentejo through a contemporary interpretation of Portuguese cuisine.

The restaurant continues to offer its three signature tasting menus – Water, Fire and Earth – alongside the Air pairing experience, which combines wines and cocktails to complement each menu, offering guests a more contemporary approach to food pairing.

The Water menu draws inspiration from the Algarve’s coastline, the Ria Formosa and the region’s local fishing traditions, highlighting seasonal seafood and regional ingredients. Fire explores the culinary heritage of the Algarve and Alentejo, combining produce of the highest quality with smoky flavours and traditional influences. Meanwhile, Earth offers a plant-based experience, enhanced by subtle elements from the sea and a focus on sustainability.
