Mizu-Teppanyaki restaurant at VILA VITA Parc, specialized in contemporary Japanese and Teppanyaki cuisine, reopens on Friday 7 February, after the winter closing period, with varied gastronomic proposals that go beyond Japanese influence and result in an exquisite experience of oriental cuisine with a privileged view over the sea.
Under the guidance of Chef Isa Rodrigues, Mizu is a concept that reflects sophisticated contemporary cuisine in a minimalist Zen environment inspired by Japanese culture and tradition. The menu features Gindara no Saikyo-Yaki, the irresistible Alaska Black Cod with Miso Saikyo, which stands out for its simplicity of authentic flavour, or Wagyu with Truffle and Tataki, one of the highlights of the menu.
In addition to these specialties, Teppanyaki takes the stage, the Japanese grill, which, at Mizu, has the capacity to serve up to ten people, and impresses the palate with a fixed menu consisting of six dishes, as well as Chef’s skills with the live fire show.
On the other hand, the à la carte menu offers a wide range of miso, sushi, sashimi, tempuras and temakis, as well as, dishes made on the Robata grill, the first in the Algarve, which operates with Binchontan (Japanese white coal) which allows for a healthier, smokeless cuisine with even more refined flavours.
Every dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a preference for fish and seafood from the Algarve coast, such as horse mackerel, sea bream, wild grouper, sea bream, and with products sourced directly from Herdade dos Grous, the resort’s property in Alentejo.
To complete the gastronomic experience, an exceptional drinks menu is available with more than twenty different types of Saké Premium and Super Premium, all of Japanese origin, for all connoisseurs or adventurous newcomers.
Open from Thursday to Monday – from 7pm to 11pm.
