The new Portugieser brings a sleek, sporty edge to one of IWC’s most recognisable timepieces
The Chronograph is the sportiest model in the Portugieser collection and it was the piece chosen by IWC to introduce the remarkable Ceratanium®, a proprietary innovation that combines the lightness and strength of titanium with the scratch resistance of ceramic. The result is the new Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium®.

The new IW371631 reference is limited to 1,500 pieces, in line with the exclusivity associated with IWC.
The 41mm case features a crown and pushers crafted from Ceratanium®, forming an entirely black design – a first for the collection – that extends to the dial, as well as the applied Arabic numerals and indices.

At its heart is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69355, a mechanical chronograph movement developed with the brand’s signature focus on robustness, reliability and longevity, offering a power reserve of 46 hours.
The rubber strap features a distinctive chequered pattern that contributes to the model’s cohesive, contemporary look.

Since 1868, IWC Schaffhausen has taken a distinctive approach to haute horlogerie, shaping its collections through precision engineering and cutting-edge technology. The new Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium® is a fine example of that philosophy.
