White is the new black
One of the most talked about watches in the halls of Watches and Wonders 2025 was without a doubt the new Tudor Black Bay Pro and its spectacular opaline dial, which brings a whole new dimension to the design and a transversal aesthetic appeal to all watchmaking lovers. And because it is so well executed and so easy to like, the new Black Bay Pro was part of many conversations at Palexpo between May 1 and 8.

Like the original with its black dial, this new variation is an extremely robust, professional-level tool watch with a 24-hour bezel and a brushed and satin finish.
The manufacturer’s automatic Calibre MT5652 includes a GMT function with two time zones. The reference hour is indicated by the yellow angular hand, itself a Tudor trademark and named ‘Snowflake’, whilst the local time is indicated by a second, smaller ‘Snowflake’ which can be adjusted in both directions using the jumping-hours function.

The date sits at 3 o’clock and is combined with the local time, so that when the latter is set in retrograde mode, the former can jump to the previous day.
The white dial further enhances readability and the ceramic markers applied with black outlines are a testament to Tudor’s care in every aspect of this model’s creation.

The 39mm steel case fits well on any wrist and the band options are all extremely appealing: three-link steel, black Jacquard strap with a contrasting yellow centre line, and a hybrid rubber and leather strap that fits the Black Bay Pro perfectly.
With a power reserve of up to 70 hours and water resistance of up to an impressive 200 metres, the watch has an extra guarantee of quality from the Swiss brand’s COSC certification for the chronometer.
