Ending the 3rd week of BoCA, the programme continues to amaze visitors in the cities of Lisbon and Faro
The 4th edition of the biennial continues at full speed with “new commissions, Portuguese premieres, unexpected collaborations, and surprising crossovers of territories and artistic practices”.
‘BoCA’ brings together Performing and Visual Arts, Music, and much more to Faro until October 14.
This Friday, 22, Marina Herlop returns to Portugal for a unique concert in Faro at the Associação Recreativa e Cultural dos Músicos. The Catalan artist will present her cross between traditional music and contemporary electronica, possibly including new songs from “Nekkuja”, her new album due for release in October.
Until September 28, visitors can discover the hypnotic sounds of rattles in a new creation by João Pais Filipe and Marco da Silva Ferreira, at the Faro Municipal Museum.
As part of the ”Invisible Present” theme, the Biennale examines some of the most important issues of our time and focuses on the invisibilities of today, seeking to give voice to those who are often obscure or marginalised.
