The Global Spa Awards 2026 recognised the resort’s leading position in luxury well-being

Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris at Vila Vita Parc, Porches, has been named Best Spa Resort – Portugal at the 2026 Global Spa Awards by The Luxury Spa Edit, reinforcing its reputation as one of the country’s leading luxury well-being destinations.

Each year, the Global Spa Awards honour excellence across the international spa and wellness industry, recognising those who deliver exceptional experiences, champion innovation and set new benchmarks in service and sustainability.

Judging criteria include quality of service, innovation in treatments and the integration of nutrition, therapies and fitness within each programme, alongside sustainability and customer care. Nominees are assessed by an expert panel, with winners decided by more than 85,000 public votes.

“Winning this award represents not only recognition of the quality of our service, but also the team’s ongoing commitment to providing transformative and memorable experiences for every guest,” the resort shared in a press statement.

The distinction adds to a growing list of accolades, further strengthening Vila Vita Parc’s reputation as one of Europe’s most exclusive well-being destinations.

Combining personalised therapies with Sisley Paris treatments, the spa offers a holistic approach, with facial and body treatments, tailored programmes and advanced therapies supported by the latest technology.

It is also known for welcoming an international line-up of guest therapists throughout the year. Upcoming practitioners include Thai massage specialist Paulneel Jauhiainen from March 23 to May 1, naturopathy and traditional Chinese medicine specialist Caroline Alboneti from May 9 to May 31, and chiropractor Leonard McGill from June 5 to June 26.

Recognised internationally, the Global Spa Awards by The Luxury Spa Edit highlight the world’s leading luxury spa hotels, spa resorts, clinics and wellness retreats, curated by experts in spa, well-being and travel.
