With an initial prize fund of €70,000, professional and amateur golfers will compete in three of the Algarve’s best golf courses in 2025
Taking place between February 10-14 next year, the iconic Old Course, Millennium and Pinhal courses, part of Dom Pedro Golf Vilamoura, will host one practice round and three days of the Inaugural Vilamoura Pro-Am competition, where professional and amateur golfers are welcomed to compete, as well as join a range of “energising evening entertainment and prize-giving”.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy luxury accommodation across a range of five-star hotels in Vilamoura throughout the competition.
Each participating PGA Pro will receive an initial fee upon entry, with the winning team collecting the coveted trophy and gifts.
Nuno Sepulveda, Co-Chief Executive Officer at DETAILS, shared in a statement to the press that it “is a fantastic opportunity for some of Europe’s best pros and ambitious amateurs to play in the incredible setting of Vilamoura. We are so proud to be staging this first Pro-Am here. The courses and facilities will be in spectacular condition when we welcome the players, and they can look forward to competing on one of the most stunning stages in European golf”.
The night before the tournament, players will be treated to a welcome reception, followed by a Dinner & Party after the second of three 18-hole tournament days, and a farewell dinner and prize-giving to wrap up the event.
