Casa Amor

A little-known spot in the historic centre of Olhão, where luxury and class meet privacy and comfort.

The Casa Amor boutique hotel reopened in 2024 after careful reconstruction and restoration to boast 10 rooms, a café and a terrace with a saltwater pool.

In addition to its panoramic views of the city and the Ria Formosa, it also has an art space in partnership with Côrte Real Art Gallery, which is open to guests and visitors alike.

Historic elegance

Palácio de Tavira is a new luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Tavira, just steps from the Roman Bridge on Praça António Padinha.

Resulting from a meticulous renovation of the historic Palácio dos Tavares, an 18th century aristocratic palace on the left bank of the Gilão River, the original facade has been restored with a thoroughly modern decor on the interior.

The hotel comprises 36 rooms and suites, including the new Medina wing with terraces, outdoor showers, two small pools, and a spa.

The hotel also features a restaurant, Mirsal, serving Portuguese cuisine with Arab influences in a Moorish-inspired courtyard.

New €45M resort set for Golden Triangle

A new €45 million resort has been announced for the Algarve’s Golden Triangle, which includes Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, and Vilamoura.

The Fonte Santa Resort will feature a three-storey hotel with 160 rooms. The project is developed by Lisbon-based HP Invest, part of the Harland and Poston Group, which primarily develops projects in residential real estate, hotels and services.

Starting on March 29, 2026, this new route connecting Portugal to the UK will have three weekly flights, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

This represents another alternative for both tourism and business travel and makes it easier to travel between the two countries.

Tickets are already available on the EasyJet website.
