Serenity Spa shines at World Luxury Awards 2025
Serenity – The Art of Well Being, at Pine Cliffs, a Luxury Collection Resort in Albufeira, has been honoured with three awards at the 2025 World Luxury Awards, cementing its position as an international benchmark in luxury wellness.
The spa received the titles of ‘Best Luxury Resort Spa in Europe’, ‘Best Luxury Wellness Centre in the World’, and ‘Best Luxury Destination Spa in Southern Europe’, distinctions that reflect the exceptional quality of its experiences and its commitment to harmony between body and mind.
The resort was also recognised as ‘Best Luxury Resort in Europe’ and ‘Best Luxury Beachfront Resort’ in Portugal.
Regenerative activities at Vila Vita
Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris has created a special festive programme to help you kick-start 2026 feeling revitalised.
From December 19 to January 3, the spa offers a variety of experiences that blend the energy of celebration with tranquillity for body and mind.
The programme includes Aerial Yoga (December 19 & 30; €25); Yin Yoga & Sound Bath Meditation (December 23 & 30, €25); Flying Sound Meditation (December 27, €75); “Resolution Rhythms” Silent Training (January 2, €15); and Full Moon Meditation (January 3, €75).
Open to guests and non-guests, with reservation.
Juice Detox, Yoga & Wellness
The Moinhos Velhos retreat in Bensafrim is hosting its Juice Detox, Yoga & Wellness programme from January 17 to 24 and again from January 24 to 31.
This week-long wellness retreats offer seven nights dedicated to body, mind, and spirit, exploring different methods of detoxification and physical, mental, and emotional purification.
Located near Lagos, Moinhos Velhos opened in 1992, inspired by the work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr Max Gerson, introducing participants to juice-based detox fasting.
The healing effects of yoga, meditation, and alternative therapies also inspired the creation of this retreat, which has since welcomed visitors from all over the world.
