Vale do Lobo opens rebranded family-oriented SMASH restaurant, focused on healthy eating

With a new menu focused on health, nutrition and flavour, SMASH offers healthy options made with natural ingredients

The Algarve’s iconic Vale do Lobo resort has opened its rebranded restaurant SMASH to the public. Located by the resort’s Tennis Academy, it’s a space full of natural light, designed for families, offering a relaxed and cosy atmosphere for everyone.

The restaurant now serves new, delicious gastronomic meals, divided into three menu options: “Very Healthy”, for those looking to maintain their diet over the holidays; “Very Nutritive”, focused on energy meals, ideal for those in training; and “Very Tasty”, which combines gastronomic pleasures with natural ingredients.

SMASH’s diverse menu offers a variety of healthy and comforting food options, from nutritious salads and fresh poké bowls to delicious pizzas and irresistible pasta dishes. For the children, there is also a special menu, which includes artisanal ice cream.

In addition to the healthy choices, there are the ever-popular artisanal pizzas, pasta and burgers, ensuring there is something for everyone’s taste.

In a truly inviting atmosphere filled with natural colours and elements, the restaurant has a cosy indoor area with a beautifully restored fireplace, as well as a serene patio by the court for a meal outside. It’s suitable for breakfast, a quick drink, a family meal or simply relaxing after a game of tennis, training or swimming.

“We have thought carefully about creating a cosy and innovative dining experience that will appeal to guests of all ages at SMASH. The beauty of the natural décor provides the perfect backdrop for the fresh, vibrant, and colourful dishes that guests can enjoy at SMASH,” shared Eduardo Johnston da Silva, Vale do Lobo’s Managing Director, with the press.

The relaunch of SMASH coincides with two other openings by the Vale do Lobo resort this year – the Tinto and Doce restaurants. These openings are part of a significant investment in the resort by owner and manager Kronos Homes, inviting a new generation of holidaymakers, golfers and owners to ‘create their own traditions’ at the resort.

SMASH is open daily, between 8am and 11pm.
